We are transforming our Dunelm digital platform, updating our technology stack to a new target architecture and rapidly delivering new, exceptional online services and solutions for our customers. Part of a team of Product Owners, QA’s and Developers, the Business Analyst will work closely with Internal stakeholders, UX and 3rd Parties to ensure that any features released to any of the company’s websites is of the highest standard for our customers. This role is to work closely with our Data Insight and Business Intelligence team, so we are ideally after someone with a solid background in this area. Role responsibilities: Collaborate with users, key stakeholders and project team to translate business requirements into user stories for the development team to build Work closely with Product Owners to help shape the backlog of work – taking ownership of product related queries and following them through to resolution Work with the project team and technical leads to determine scope and help plan sprints with the Product Owners Be comfortable Working with the development team to ensure they understand the vision for the product and are designing great features for our users Be confident to run stand ups and estimating sessions where required Develop appropriately detailed stories for product features so that they are clearly understood by the development teams Motivate the development teams to deliver solutions with an appropriate sense of urgency Understanding the technical solutions and validating the work produced by the tribe Work with key stakeholders across the company to ensure successful product releases Writing clear acceptance criteria (using BDD format is a real advantage). Skills and experience required: Technical skills: Understanding of SQL Awareness of Power Bi General skills: Ability to work to tight deadlines and at pace Effective communication skills including verbal, written and presentation skills. The ability to build strong relationships and networks Strong multi-tasking and organisational skills Demonstrated willingness to be flexible and adaptable to changing work priorities. Previous Agile experience is advantageous Worked closely with developers and have enough of a technical understanding to communicate clearly with dev's and testers to build a great rapport. Ideally, 3-5 years BA experience, doing iterative, incremental product development. Story Mapping experience Team player/ Collaborative Good communication skills Self-motivated and self-starter.
