PRA Health Sciences is a contract research organization (CRO) with headquarters in Raleigh, North Carolina that was founded in 1982. In 2013 the company was acquired by Kohlberg Kravis Roberts, which brought the company public in November 2014 while maintaining control of it.
In August 2017 the company acquired Conshohocken-based health and analytics company Symphony Health for USD $530 million.The company's 2017 revenue was just under USD $2 billion.
