Job Purpose Due to the continued growth of the business, we are currently looking for a passionate, driven and energetic Junior Data Analyst to join our Global HR team. Working closely with the Chief HR Officer and Senior Manager for Performance, Reward and Analytics, this role will provide support to the HR team providing meaningful analytics and key business insights on all people aspects to be shared with the Executive team to enable informed business decisions. With previous experience of HR data management, analysis and administration within a busy HR department, you will have excellent attention to detail and will take pride in ensuring accuracy. You'll be professional, confident and approachable to build relationships of trust across the company in delivering an efficient and high-quality service to staff and managers. Key responsibilities Produce weekly and monthly HR reports, e.g. weekly recruitment report and monthly Board report Support the annual employee lifecycle processes with respect to the management of data, e.g. compensation review, performance management, etc. Create and improve reporting including generating, reviewing and interpreting data Analyse HR data to present clear and insightful business metrics and insights for senior management Work collaboratively with global stakeholders to gather and present accurate information Ensure and maintain the accuracy and integrity of global people data within the HR system, (Workday) Provide light-touch administration support to CHRO Provide ad hoc support on all data matters for the HR Team Skills and Experience Proven experience working in a fast-paced, information-rich environment Excellent attention to detail Naturally analytical, highly numerate Strong data analysis skills with experience creating Executive level presentations and reports Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, graphs, V lookups, IF statements, etc.) Advanced PowerPoint skills HR data management within HRIS (e.g. Workday) Team player who is also able to work alone Self-motivated, action-orientated, collaborative with strong communication and interpersonal skills About Argus Media Argus is an independent media organisation with almost 1,000 staff.
