About Costain and your project. Costain helps to improve people’s lives by deploying technology-based engineering solutions to meet urgent national needs across the UK’s energy, water and transportation infrastructures. Costain have been contracted for the design and build of a facility near Reading. The scope of works for this project will include Programme Management, Construction, Building Services (M&E), Instrumentation and Control Systems and various external works. Potential candidates for this role must be able to obtain and retain Security Clearance to be able to be considered. What will I be doing? The Project Security Coordinator is responsible for demonstrating efficient, administrative and business support within AWE Project Mensa ensuring the delivery and execution of the project delivery strategy, together with demonstration of the Costain Values in regards to quality, innovation and collaboration. These activities range from being responsible for the coordination of confidential data collection, action, mitigation and improvement plans which involve working and engaging with other teams and supply chain across the project. Coordination of workflow in regards to relevant security clearance documents for new starters joining the project. Coordinate and process all security pass schedules (SC to DV). Coordinate (with SLO’s) office security processes within all offices areas in the Enclave and ensure client security requirements are embedded. Complete monthly security health checks/audits – all areas includung Construction Site. Provide security support & guidance to all new Contractors joining the project. Track all pending security clearances and report any issues to the Security Manager to agree resolution plan. Vetting and approval of all BPSS application forms. Coordinate all project security related AE’s through the investigation process and sharing lessons learnt. Provide close down report and data. Manage and maintain the new starter schedule including leavers in coodination with office lead and IT. Provide support and guidance for all security related queries/issues in line with client security processes. Notify your manage immediately of any security related issues/risks. Regular coordination planning and communication with Project Security Liaison Officers leading the monthly SLO meeting. Produce and maintain all security performance dashboards and creating new innovations to ensure security culture on the project is robust and positive. Coordination of project visitor process and provide monthly data. Maintain project SQEP recrods and provide monthly update. Attend team fortnightly meeting Other duties assigned by your manager. About you Previous experience of working in a security/administrationsupport function Apply confidentiality at all times in all conversations and correspondence.
