Software Engineer

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Developer to join our UK Payroll team. As part of a cross-functional scrum team, you will work alongside a team of Developers, UX, Business Analysts and Test Automation Engineers providing direction on all aspects of solution design and the development life cycle to assist in the delivery of our trusted 50 Payroll product.
The team creates software that supports 40% of UK business in paying their people. We are looking for someone who has the desire and drive to push us forward in our journey as we transform our products to handle the demands of today and tomorrow’s business landscape and help us maintain our status as the market leader in the UK FinTech sector.

 

Experience in the following technologies would be desirable but not all essential:
C#
WPF
Microsoft Visual Studio
Azure, AWS
CI/CD with Azure DevOps, Git, Cucumber
EF Core, SQL
Conversant in C++/MFC

You will have experience of guiding the direction of a software development team using technical design artifacts and a proven track record of delivering substantial milestones within the scrum framework.
You will be able to work collaboratively within a cross-functional team with a motivated attitude to continuous improvement in our software, techniques, and processes.

 

The following skills are essential:
Proven track record of delivery in the Microsoft stack e.g. MFC/.Net
Proven experience leading technical solution design.
Proven ability evaluating technologies and practices.
Proven ability implementing design principles and patterns.
