The post holder will collaborate with the CyBOK project team as well as the wider cyber security community, both in academia and industry.

What will you be doing?

  • Work closely with existing cyber security education and professional training programmes to support their transition to utilising CyBOK as the basis.
  • Develop and utilise case studies and exemplar tools for the representation of the CyBOK knowledge areas to demonstrate coverage within existing education and professional training programmes at different levels.
  • Support the usage – including additional research and mapping – of CyBOK as the basis of NCSC certification of undergraduate and postgraduate degree programmes.
  • Prepare written progress reports and project deliverables.
  • Prepare conference and journal papers for publication of project findings.
  • Participate in relevant project meetings, prepare and present talks, posters and reports to disseminate the results of the research.
  • Participate in national and international conferences and workshops to present the results of the project to a wider audience and to learn about current advances in the field.
