The Role:

• Design, build, and manage scalable data pipelines and ETL processes on Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
• Architect and optimize data lakes and data warehouses using BigQuery, Cloud Storage, Dataproc, and more
• Partner with data scientists, ML engineers, and analysts to deliver data infrastructure that fuels innovation
• Implement data governance, quality, and security standards to ensure integrity and compliance
• Automate workflows, build monitoring systems, and help establish best-in-class engineering practices
• Communicate complex technical solutions in a simple and compelling way to business stakeholders

What you will bring:

• Minimum of 5+ years of experience in Data Engineering, with strong hands-on GCP expertise
• Deep knowledge of ETL/ELT processes, data modeling, and data warehousing
• Proficient in SQL, and familiar with NoSQL databases
• Skilled in Python, Java, or Scala for data pipeline development
• Experienced with BigQuery, Dataflow, Dataproc, Cloud Storage, Pub/Sub
• Exposure to Hadoop, Spark, Kafka and other big data technologies
• Strong communication skills—able to translate complex ideas to a non-technical audience
• GCP certifications (especially Professional Data Engineer) are a big plus!
