If you’re looking for an energetic environment where your talent can grow, we are actively recruiting for a Senior Full Stack Developer to join our Nectar family.

 You will:

  • You will engage with teams across Nectar, i2c and with Partners and clients to identify and spot opportunities to develop products and applications which improve efficiency, provide new capability and/or generate revenue
  • You will work with the Tools & Data Science team and wider Nectar Loyalty Analytics team to transform complex data and analytics into compelling and intuitive products and tools
  • You will maintain quality and ensure robustness and responsiveness of your products and applications
  • You will maintain code integrity and organisation
  • You will own your own projects, by providing input to scope, planning the development and presenting the solutions with recommendations within agreed timelines
  • You will have opportunity to lead by example - defining best practice solutions, driving improvements in existing reporting/analytical processes and visualisations 

You’ll need:

  • A university degree (2:1 or higher) in an IT, analytical or programming discipline.
  • Great communication skills
  • Strong background manipulating, visualising and drawing insight from large consumer databases
  • A keen eye for detail and aesthetic qualities beyond basic functionality
  • Previous experience of working with customer data is essential and marketing data is desirable. 
  • Knowledge of HTML, CSS, Javascript, D3
  • JavaScript frameworks AngularJS, React highly desirable
  • Server-side languages like PHP, Python, Ruby, Java 
  • Ability to develop cross-browser / platform compatible solutions for web and mobile advantageous
  • Knowledge of databases and SQL tools and an understanding of 'Back-End' integration and service design
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or MS Azure desirable
  • Knowledge of code versioning tools such as GitHub
  • Strong background manipulating, visualising and drawing insight from large consumer databases 
  • You are an innovative thinker with a passion for delivering pragmatic solutions that make a difference in the ‘real world’
  • You will be a motivated and dedicated team-player able to work in small agile teams and also have the drive to work independently
  • You will show a flair for developing creative, visual and innovative solutions for both internal stakeholders or external Nectar partners and i2c clients
  • You will also have strong communication skills and be comfortable working directly with internal and external stakeholders
  • You are able to relate and talk knowledgably about core techniques and develop outputs suitable for audiences ranging from data analyst and campaign manager to senior management
  • You have strong attention to detail combined with an organised working approach
