Job Description

Our goal is to make sure you’re in total control of your household bills — it’s easy to get lost in paper bills and different provider websites, so we created a better way.

As the IT Operations Engineer, you’ll be reporting to the Head of Information Security. You’ll provide first and second-line support to the WonderBill teams working across multiple locations and ensuring we deliver an effective and responsive IT operations across the business.

 What you’ll be doing

  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical faults quickly, proposing alternative interim solutions to minimise business impact
  • Identify process improvements which could reduce impacts of technical faults in the future.
  • Maintain the IT asset register, tagging and tracking equipment in line with agreed processes
  • Liaise with business leads to identify future technology requirements
  • Perform on/offboarding of team members to agreed targets
  • Provide procurement of technology and other assets as required, in line with agreed processes.
  • Provide support for new and existing projects, and work with the engineering team to ensure any new projects are delivered to requirements.
  • Drive the development of new processes as and when required. 

 Who we’re looking for 

  • Prior experience providing IT support in a corporate environment, ideally both deskside and remote
  • Attention to detail, able to follow processes accurately and work with large volumes of data
  • Strong customer service orientation with exceptional communication skills
  • Able to find creative solutions to technical problems or define new approaches to solving problems
  • Experience with G suite and Apple product IT administration
  • A passion for technology, with a keenness to learn new skills and progress your career
