Job Description

At PROWLER.io we are combining reinforcement learning, multi-agent learning, probabilistic modelling and state of the art computational tools to develop autonomous decision making agents that learn from and rapidly adapt to their environment. In particular, you will investigate how two or more agents should learn to coordinate with and without communication channels, how to interact with unknown agents in adversarial, friendly and mixed incentive settings. Special focus on assumptions about local observations.

We are looking to hire exceptional machine learning researchers to join our team of highly talented scientists and engineers. You will be contributing to our research work and developing software for our AI platform and agents to deliver completely new solutions to domain sectors such as logistics, finance, gaming , autonomous vehicles, and beyond.

Your responsibilities

  • Contribute to multi-agent systems research
  • Write papers to machine learning/(algorithmic) game theory conferences about research results
  • Review documents, write (and review) code and provide constructive feedback
  • Engage with client projects and deliverables
  • Continuously develop your own machine learning and engineering skills and help others to improve theirs

Essential requirements

  • Academic or industrial research experience in reinforcement learning
  • PhD in relevant area
  • Ability to understand cutting-edge research papers
  • Ability to lead the writing of papers in machine learning conferences
  • Willingness to work as part of a team and learn new skills
  • Passion to solve challenging problems

Desirable experience or interest:

  • Expert knowledge of multi-agent systems literature
  • Expert knowledge of game theory
  • Knowledge of numerical programming (Python/ NumPy / tensorflow)
  • Advanced degree (MSc, PhD) in relevant area
  • Knowledge of probabilistic modelling techniques
