Job Description

Purpose of the Role:

  • Input and maintain data
  • Monitor and track resource utilization
  • Produce relevant metrics and reports
  • Provide support with all workforce planning and forecasting activity

Principal Accountabilities:

  • Input and maintain resource data
  • Generate weekly, monthly and annual metrics
  • Present comprehensive MI information to senior leaders
  • Create and maintain a utilisation report for ongoing development
  • Implement resource allocation and utilisation processes and systems
  • Chase managers for critical data to ensure reporting is accurate
  • Partner with the Finance team to understand rate cards for budgeting
  • Identifying risks with resource allocation and escalate accordingly
  • Analyse and report on trends within the business around resource allocation and utilisation
  • Provide analysis and reports on skills gaps identified
  • Identify improved ways of working and make recommendations
  • Build relationships with key stakeholders across the business
  • Work on ad hoc workforce planning projects
  • Liaise with the HR team to ensure alignment around resource processes 
  • Manage third party relationships
  • Provide meaningful data to the project and programme teams so they can manage their resource budgets

Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

  • Mathematical with a keen eye for accuracy and detail
  • Data analysis expertise and competency is essential
  • Advanced excel skills including functions such as calculations, pivot tables, VLOOKUP, manipulating data and production of graphs
  • Accuracy in managing data and associated information
  • Have a flair for data and analysis and be relied upon to highlight long-term resourcing budget and scheduling requirements
  • Confident presentation skills when demonstrating data
