Job Description

We are seeking a talented individual with a background in finance to join our fast growing London client services team. The successful candidate will work directly with clients from tier II-III banks, hedge funds and asset managers to support Quantifi s Fintech software solutions. The role will leverage technical experience in database technologies, systems deployment and architecture and build an understanding of our clients business covering pricing, trade and portfolio analytics, simulation and regulatory risk measures (XVAs etc.).

We are looking to automate much of our support function using a combination of machine learning techniques and data science. We expect this role to play an active part in this process. Responsibilities:

  • Support for end users to troubleshoot, diagnose and resolve complex technical issues.
  • Train end users on the technical configuration and features of the system
  • Implementation of a machine learning process to streamline support and increase client autonomy
  • Define and execute system test plans to ensure client requirements are met
  • Maintain strong working relationships with clients

Skills and Requirements:

  • Undergraduate degree in Maths, Computer Science, Physics, Engineering or other technical discipline
  • Knowledge of relational databases and SQL
  • Experience with programming/scripting languages (C#, C++, Python)
  • Interest in finance and capital markets
  • Self-motivated with ability to work both independently and under direction
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
