Interrogate various datasets that support various reports and ad hoc queries
Schedule data feeds into the business using API’s and ETL’s
Provide technical solutions as business requests requires
Outline and build architectural views of how data should move and land in the business
Work with IT on those architectural views and needed support
Normalize data sets
Manage source control around development environments
Analyse and understand the existing and new data
Build visualization in Tableau that support data stories
To succeed in this role, you will have experience in analytics, business intelligence or visualizations/dashboarding. Coupled with demonstrable expertise with Tableau & Power BI and extensive knowledge in SQL/Python/DAX/R.
You will have DB development experience with stored procedures, query tools and scripting, e.g various versions of SQL (SQL, Server, Oracle), XML Files (Internal and external via SFTP) direct from Excel. Coupled with this you will hold experience within data warehouse design and development using multi-dimensional modelling techniques.
A natural born communicator, you will have strong written and verbal communication skills to form strong working relationships with key internal stakeholders and feel comfortable in conveying key business information. You will be analytical in your approach and enjoy looking at large sets of data. If the above sounds like you, we would love to hear form you!
