JUNIOR BUSINESS INTELLIGENCE ANALYST - CHISWICK, WEST LONDON

The Junior Business Intelligence Analyst will assist the Data & BI team in ensuring that the company reporting tool (BOARD MIT) runs without any problems, as well as helping internal stakeholders in creating reports that will enable them to make sound business decisions. Additionally, to working closely with the BOARD MIT tool, the Junior Business Intelligence Analyst will be required to run SQL queries on other databases in order to extract data. The Junior Business Intelligence Analyst will be responsible for debugging data ensuring that all data managed by the Data & BI team meets adequate quality standards.

What you'll be doing:

  • Design and implement BI (Business Intelligence) & CPM (Corporate Performance Management) solutions
  • Implement and maintain complex data loading procedures using Microsoft Packages (SSIS)
  • Implement and maintain complex reports/dashboards within BOARD MIT and other data reporting tools (Power BI, Google Analytics etc.)
  • Help internal stakeholders with data requirements by extracting the data from databases and building reports/dashboards in BOARD MIT
  • Debugging data if needed to ensure that the data provided to the business is error free
  • Helping the business in acquiring better customer data ensuring that this data is handled in a GDPR compliant manner
  • Training internal stakeholders in the use and application of BOARD MIT

A bit about your experience:

  • Degree educated in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science or any other related field
  • Knowledge of advanced SQL Server programming including stored procedures, triggers and user defined functions
  • Analytical skills, able to understand business requirements and design and deliver solutions
  • Previous experience in designing and implementing BI (Business Intelligence) solutions
  • Knowledge of the BOARD MIT toolkit solutions or any similar tool (preferred)
  • Experience in debugging, monitoring and troubleshooting BI solutions (preferred)
  • Good understanding of relational database design principles (preferred)
  • Basic knowledge of SQL Server administration (data and transaction log files settings, backup and restore) (not essential)
