A biotechnology leader they use proprietary clinical AI technology to understand patient data in a way that leads to the detection, prevention and cure of serious illnesses. Harnessing this unique approach, they are able to pioneer new approaches to drug discovery and clinical trials.

The role will appeal to an experienced Machine Learning Professional who wants to take the next step in her / his career.

So, what will you be doing?

Take the lead on projects and lead your team to deliver best-in-class results
Use your experience to help up-skill those in your team
Build, then implement Data Science and Machine Learning solutions which provide intelligence to support decision making in the company and life sciences.
Guide and support researches on programming best practices; through all phases of project development
Help and guide the optimization of Machine Learning driven approaches; developing robust model training and data infrastructure to this effect
Publish research results in national and international conferences and scientific journals

Requirements

MSc or PhD in a discipline such as Mathematics, Computer Science, Physics, Data Science, Machine Learning, Biomedical Engineering.
Demonstrable ability in ML research and development projects
Programming experience - Python (bonus points for Scala, R etc)
Experience building data solutions in increments and integrating then managing datasets from multiple sources
(Desirable) experience using deep learning libraries such as TensorFlow, PyTorch or Similar
(Desirable) experience in the analysis of healthcare/clinical data
