Role specifics:

This role is responsible for collaborating with the global solutions design and test functions and chosen third party partners in all aspects of software delivery and support, ensuring quality, performance and regulatory standards are met.

Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to;

  • Assists with low-level design, codes, tests, corrects, and documents moderately complex programs and scripts from agreed specifications and subsequent iterations, using agreed standards and tools.
  • Collaborates with others as appropriate during delivery and subsequent support of project delivery.
  • Translates object and data models into appropriate database schemes within design constraints. Interprets standards to meet project needs and produces database components as required.
  • Provide unit tests of own work and perform peer reviews of colleagues work to ensure quality and provide audit evidence.
  • Responsible for production of and maintenance of system documentation.
  • Manage own workload split between business project, continuous improvement, incident and problems management and service requests.

The ideal candidate will have the following skills, knowledge and expertise;

  • Highly experienced in TSQL
  • Highly experienced in MS SQL server, any Oracle or MySQL exposure would be beneficial
  • Esperance with the SSIS, SSRS
  • The following concepts of standards;
    • XML ,restful services, MVC development
  • Awareness of Secure Coding , Information Security threats and best practices
  • In-depth knowledge of software development lifecycle and testing methodologies, including Agile software development practices and supporting tools, unit testing, and automated testing
  • Jira / TFS
  • GIT / FTS software
  • HP Fortify sonar cube
  • Testing frameworks
