The Opportunity
We are now recruiting for FP&A Analyst to join our team in the UK. Glanbia Performance Nutrition is the world’s leading premium sports nutrition company with Optimum Nutrition, BSN, ABB, Nutramino, Isopure, Think Thin, Body & Fit, Amazing Grass & Slimfast brands in the portfolio today. GPN is the fastest growth driver within Glanbia group (€3.7bn revenue in 2018) with revenue ambition of €6bn by 2022 with €1.8bn from GPN division. GPN delivered €1.2bn revenue in 2018, +9.5% versus prior year with EBITA margin of 14.7%.This growth will come from a combination of organic sales growth, strategic acquisitions and expansion of market presence within specific geographies. With this growth rate comes significant and rapid change, both organizationally and strategically. We are looking for an experienced finance professional who is passionate about the sports nutrition industry and also able to effectively lead within this scale and pace of change/business growth. Key Accountabilities

  • Developing and improving forecasting systems and tools on an on-going basis
  • Produce budget and forecast income statements for GPN UK and explain movements and provide commentary on movements from previous forecast and previous year
  • Business partnering with GM and senior Commercial people to drive efficiencies and margin growth.
  • Conduct sales forecasting for GPN brands and accounts in coordination with finance, sales and marketing teams
  • Assisting the Senior FP&A Manager on the on-going development of the FP&A function in UK within the finance function and its support of the commercial operations
  • Financial Modelling and analysis as required
  • Responsible for the maintenance and updating of all price lists for the UK GPN business with a key focus on accuracy & standardisation of pricing approach
  • Ensure that adequate pricing controls are in place with a focus on maintaining a robust overall control framework around any pricing changes
  • Provide analysis to support sales, marketing, RGM and finance teams to make strategic planning decisions around trade spend
  • Ensure the business is complying with procedures and ensuring the promotional activity is supported with documentation

About You
To be successful in this position you will have:

    • 4 + years’ qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
    • Knowledge of working with SAP or a similar system would be advantageous
    • Self-starter, who has the ability to work within a team
    • Highly analytical mind-set with experience in data analysis and manipulating large quantities of information/data
    • In depth knowledge of accounting and financial principles as well as technical accounting skills
    • Experience in working and influencing in an environment of rapidly changing workload, tight deadlines, in the context of high client expectations and tight time frames
    • Excellent communication and presentation skills
    • Strong stakeholder management skills
