Job Description

We're looking for architects who bring fresh ideas from all areas, including information retrieval, distributed computing, large-scale system design, networking and data storage, security, artificial intelligence. We need our architects to be versatile, to display leadership qualities and to be enthusiastic in taking on new problems.

As a Lead Architect you will work collaboratively within the integration team and cross functionally to help define and develop best practices for integration and business process management. You will share practices, ideas and successes with other product delivery teams. You will be a highly proficient architect with experience in designing complex systems in a multi-team environment.

Role Responsibilities

  • Act as lead business process management solution designer for the solution being responsible for high-level and detailed level designs
  • Architecting, designing and documenting business technology solutions for both on-premise and cloud-based platforms.
  • Architecting and documenting technology roadmaps and supporting a multi-cloud strategy, architecture and design.
  • Delivering architectures which support business integration and process optimisation and improvement.
  • Define and manage the API roadmap for delivery against core programmes
  • Day to day architectural and design activities to support the Media Ecosystem and Enterprise Data Hub activities, working cross-programme to support delivery
  • Define the deployment and security architectures aligned to the DevOps and Security requirements
  • Defining the patterns and best practice
  • Collaborate with security architecture, security engineering and DevOps to define and align solutions
  • Represent solution designs in Technical Design Authorities and ensure design and solution reviews are conducted to a high standard
  • Troubleshoot and take ownership of issues in our architecture and design, working with development, test and devops to resolution.
  • Continuous learning and evaluation of the latest methods, tools, and technologies

Who are we looking for?

  • Expert in reference integration patterns with multi-cloud hybrid architectures
  • Experience in middleware technologies such as Kafka, APIs, ESBs (Kafka preferred)
  • Experience in BPM systems such as Camunda, jBPM or similar
  • Knowledge /certifications in BPMN 2.x and TOGAF
  • Experience in cloud platforms such as Azure and AWS
  • Knowledge of SaaS platforms such as Salesforce and Dynamics365
  • Industry experience working with business process management technologies i.e. Camunda, Zeebee
  • Proficiency with end to end integration service designs
  • Experienced in Agile test driven software development
  • Ability to create high-quality scalable architectures and detailed designs in an agile environment
  • Knowledge of Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery
  • Working experience with Docker and/or Kubernetes an advantage
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
