Develop Marketing Intelligence tools, sources and processes, as well as analyses to support strategic decisions and distribute market information across Ceramics EMEA organization.
Support and provide inputs to Marketing, Sales and S&T teams concerning markets, competition, customers and business strategy.
JOb scope & dimensions:
Conduct market research and competition analysis to understand demand drivers and determine differentiated needs (product specifications, service attributes) of the Market Segment and its Subsegments (by application, area, customer).
Contribute to the elaboration of the Market Segment Strategy by assessing current and future market trends/ conjuncture trends/competition activities, customer needs and impact of new technologies, with the aim to develop future objectives and strategic plans.
Participate in projects for new or differentiated products/applications and for geographical expansion for the Market Segment by exploiting the existing expertise/know-how of the Group and the emerging synergies in cooperation with S&T, regional sales and Tech support teams.
Support the Market Segment in analyzing new challenges and opportunities for successful cooperation and interesting participations and partnerships to strengthen the own market position, to avoid new competition and to create new growing possibilities
Support the design and implementation of a comprehensive communication’s action plan to promote the market awareness of the Segment’s products and applications.
Support pricing analysis by monitoring competition
Responsible for the knowledge management of the Segment
Update the BI system with new customers data and their segmentation for the Market Segment.
Feed the CRM system with market data and support the sales team to identify new opportunities and monitor their progress in the CRM system
Nature of customers :
Travels: occasionally in EMEA for trade shows and customers visits
Education: Master degree in Marketing or Business
3-5 years experience in Marketing and Strategy, preferably in BtoB industries
Skills in quantitative and qualitative analysis and methods
Capacity to synthesize the outcomes of research works and to make recommendations
Good understanding of sales topics
Strong numerical skills and Knowledge of Business finance
Strong Knowledge in Excel and Powerpoint, G Suite is a plus
Advocate for data integrity
Language: Fluent in English
