As a Graduate Data Analyst, based in Leeds your role is important to the delivery of innovative digital solutions for our internal business and our clients operating in the fields of water/wastewater, energy and resources, transportation and environmental management. You will work within a specialist Data Analytics team providing technology and programming support to the team and a range of projects. Your input into the Data Analytics solutions being developed in our wider engineering consultancy business will be key. You will be part of our global team, helping to develop new services to budget within our quality and risk management framework.

We are looking for someone who is innovative and inquisitive in nature, but also has a keen interest in technology and finding creative solutions to problems. You will become a key member of our Data Analytics community providing timely, reliable support to the team and projects.

ABOUT YOU

The successful candidate will have a degree which may be in engineering, mathematics, physics or Geography or similar.

We are seeking a graduate who will demonstrate a genuine interest in data analytics and an aptitude for digital technology.

The ideal candidate will ideally have some knowledge of and a keen willingness to learn skills in:

  • Programming (e.g. Python, Ruby, C#, SQL...)
  • Web development (JavaScript, CSS, HTML, PHP)
  • Business intelligence (Microsoft Power BI or equivalent) and GIS (ArcGIS)
  • Data Mining/ Manipulation (FME)Any evidence of the skills listed above (including examples from non-work activities or academic projects) would strengthen a candidate’s application.
