As a Sales Manager at Micron you will have total ownership and accountability for general business management and development activities specific to the Northern England indirect accounts in the territory. Sales ownership is encouraged throughout the entire sales process.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Manage a set of existing and new indirect accounts within the Northern part of England. These will be a mix of SI’s, VARS, Corporate resellers, Etail and retail accounts.
  • Identify accounts Tam and share
  • Define and implement plans to grow share in account base across Micron’s portfolio of products
  • Work with channel marketing to develop programs within territory
  • Train indirect accounts across existing and new product lines
  • Utilize effective presentation and command skills within customer and internal meetings
  • Be consistently customer facing
  • Proactively take ownership for follow up on meetings
  • Analyze business to identify areas of strong performance and those needing improvement

Education:

  • BSA required, MBA highly desirable
  • Marketing
  • Business Administration/Management
  • Related field of study

  • Fluency in English; additional languages may be considered
  • Intermediate computer skills in Microsoft Office (Outlook & Excel), ERP/CRM system or similar (SAP, Salesforce.com, SharePoint, Model N); a technical aptitude to learn software tools is required
  • Frequent travelling required to events, training and customer visits
  • Ability to represent the company in a highly professional manner both over the phone and face-to-face
