The Finance Workstream Reporting Lead will lead the Finance Reporting workstream of the ERP programme.

About the role

To drive the implementation of reporting from the new ERP into the Finance function;

  • Manage the reporting requirement of stakeholders, ensuring the current state is challenged where appropriate and driving the cultural change required to move to more automated, efficient, self-serve reporting environment;
  • Key report build resource, expected to spend a significant amount of time developing reports allocated to the Quilter team;
  • Manage the design and build of reports for outbound integrations and the onward consumption into the Group’s disclosure management, corporation tax calculations and capital modelling tools;
  • Managing the build of reports through co-ordinating Quilter and external resource;
  • Ensure standardised report formats are developed and embedded within Quilter to fulfil statutory, regulatory and MI reporting needs;
  • Work with stakeholders to ensure that the ERP solution becomes the one source of truth for financial data;
  • Engage with the business to obtain sign off of reports being built, Support for defects identified in testing;
  • Co-ordinate with Global Process Owners across the Finance, HR & Procurement functions through testing, defect management and deployment cycles;
  • Work with stakeholders within and outside Finance to ensure that robust and scalable data quality principles are embedded within the ERP solution;
  • Define the operating model for report build and support post-deployment;
  • Provide regular status and exception reports to the Project Manager, Finance Lead and other stakeholders as required

About you

You'll have the ability to engage and consult at all organisational levels, with good communication skills, both written and verbal. You'll have the ability to deal with stakeholders at various levels across shared functions to develop centres of excellence for their internal and external customers

You'll have the ability to produce high quality, timely deliverables, as well as credibility, professionalism and strong personal integrity and the ability to thrive in a complex and changing environment whilst maintaining a proactive approach to the resolution of problems and obstacles, escalating issues as required and embracing a collaborative working environment to achieve shared objectives.

You'll need experience of leading delivery within a complex programme within Financial Services or a related industry, as well as familiarity with working with multiple stakeholders and to tight timescales in a delivery focused fashion. You'll need a demonstrable track record of delivering on time and quality. Workday Finance experience would be advantageous, as would being a qualified (or QBE) accountant.
