As part of HR/Communications function, the Global Diversity, Inclusion and Wellbeing Director, will ensure that diversity agendas are successfully implemented and in line with businesses objectives, AVEVA’s culture and values. The ideal candidate will have both a proven track record of leading global D&I and Wellbeing activities along with project management skills to drive programs that support the organisation's workforce diversity, inclusiveness, wellbeing and retention opportunities. An excellent understanding of external trends and the ability to transfer these to improve AVEVA’s brand as an employer of choice. The role reports to the VP Employee Communications, Diversity and Inclusion, Wellbeing and CSR. Close working relationships with the wider Global Human Resources and Communications Team is essential to provide a consistent and joined up approach to all activities. Global Diversity, Inclusion and Wellbeing Director – US/UK Responsibilities: The Senior Global Diversity, Inclusion and Wellbeing Manager will play a vital part in our organisation developing our diversity and inclusion strategy, policies and providing guidance. This role will also be responsible for building a global employee wellbeing framework through the support of a regional network. • Researching and advising on AVEVA diversity & inclusion strategy, policies and creating programmes, training and values around this. • Benchmark and research analysis, including monitoring and reporting on diversity and inclusion topics. Develop metrics for measuring the impact and effectiveness of corporate diversity initiatives. • Identifying external trends and recognising best practice which will increase diversity and promote inclusion among the workforce. • Provide leadership and subject matter expertise on all aspects of diversity & inclusion • Contribute to the design of diversity & inclusion programmes, AVEVA initiatives, internal and external events. • Coaching and building capability of senior managers on the approach and response to diversity & inclusion strategy and plans and to anticipate and pre-empt organisational issues. • Maintaining relationships with diversity related businesses, with the intention of working together and improving our company brand • Use data and analytics to measure the effectiveness of tools and policies, and understand the landscape for further improvement. • Responsibility for the overall reporting of our D&I initiatives within regulatory reports as required for a FTSE 100 organisation. • As the subject matter expert liaise with HRBPs and the business to develop strategic action to attract, develop and retain diverse talent by analysing and presenting talent demographics, monitoring data trends and developing diversity initiatives. • Support the delivery of the global wellbeing framework and work with regional teams to develop suitable approaches to suit cultural requirements. Support the implementation of initiatives and the impact this has on overall wellbeing within AVEVA. • Build relationships and form alliances with external counterparts, communities of practice and stakeholders to scan for innovations and opportunities to form partnerships. • Partner with AVEVA’s communications team to regularly communicate internally and externally diversity and inclusion initiatives, events and progress. • Be an ambassador for the function and represent AVEVA D&I in all suitable forums internally and externally. • Identify, build, and sustain community partnerships to support corporate diversity and inclusion projects, plans, initiatives and business strategies. Skills & Qualifications: • Minimum 10 years of related D&I/human resource experience and/or prior training. • Proven, progressive experience and demonstrated effectiveness leading diversity and inclusion related initiatives and programmes, particularly with global scope. • Proficient in Microsoft Office with an emphasis in Excel and PowerPoint • Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships and interface effectively at all levels of the organisation • Project management skills with a demonstrated ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment • Strong verbal and written communication skills with experience in facilitation and presentation • Strong operational communication, interpersonal and presentation skills • Line management experience • A team player with ability to manage multiple projects and a strong knowledge of diversity and inclusion metrics and analytics. • Coaching experience • Sound knowledge of workplace wellbeing initiatives • Budget management experience • A flair for generating new ideas and driving change through new approaches • Excellent communication skills and stakeholder management • Multicultural relationship management • Educated to degree level or equivalent (desirable) • Strong sense of personal initiative and time management AVEVA is an Equal Opportunity Employer and we take pride in the diversity of our employees, valuing the special experience and expertise that people from different backgrounds bring to our business.
