We are seeking a data savvy Business Analyst to play a key role in our Data team. This person will be instrumental in the definition and delivery of internally and externally facing data projects such as: the sharing of health data between Babylon services, the integration of Babylon with partner systems and the modelling of operational data for product analytics. As a member of the Data team’s Consultants group, this person will sit at the interface of the Data product team and its customers.

What will you be doing?

  • Evaluating business needs, anticipating requirements, uncovering areas for improvement, and developing and implementing solutions
  • Analysing system and enterprise architecture and interpreting the impact of the requirements on the system
  • Conducting meetings and presentations to share ideas and finding
  • Performing requirements analysis
  • Documenting and communicating the results of your efforts
  • Effectively communicating your insights and plans to team members and management
  • Working closely with stakeholders
  • Ensuring solutions meet business needs and requirements
  • Take part in user acceptance testing
  • Providing information to leadership to enable prioritisation of initiatives based on business needs and requirements
  • Serving as a liaison between stakeholders and the Tribe

What do we expect from you?

  • Experience working in an agile environment
  • Ability to grasp complex problems and explain them comprehensively yet succinctly
  • Work in a fast paced environment with rapidly changing priorities
  • Ability to take on projects with a high level of uncertainty
  • Attention to detailExperience using JIRA
  • Experience working in cross-functional, multidisciplinary teams and large projects with a number of teams involved
  • Writing effective user stories

Desirable skills:

  • Experience with data products or complex backend systems
  • Understanding of data modelling, ETL processes
  • Experience in the health industry
  • Comfortable with data and analytics
  • Experience in a highly-regulated industry is a bonus
  • SQL
