C++ Developer / Software Engineer (C++ UNIX). Are you a senior C++ Developer? You could be working on complex multi-threaded C++ financial trading applications, taking ownership and remaining hands-on whilst progressing your career at a small, highly profitable Equities trading FinTech whose trading platform is used by Investment Management clients across Europe.
As a C++ Developer you will design and develop new features and enhancements to the core low latency trading platform with a focus on robustness and scalability. You'll work across the full development lifecycle to understand requirements and build solutions, collaborating with Product Managers in an Agile environment.
The company is currently able to offer a remote interview and onboarding process as well as work from home for the foreseeable with the expectation that you will join colleagues in the London city office in the coming months with continued flexibility to work from home 2 days a week going forward.
Requirements:
- Strong C++ development on high performance, high availability, multi-threaded production systems
- Experience in a financial services environment, ideally with knowledge of Equities trading
- Scripting languages (e.g. Python, Perl, Shell)
- Good working knowledge of SQL
- Ability to manage your own time, take ownership and get things done
- Collaborative and pragmatic with good communication skills
