We are looking for a Supply Chain Data Analyst who will report to the Supply Chain Director and will thrive working in a fast paced environment.
The Supply Chain Data Analyst will be the focal point for supply chain intelligence, data analytics, dashboarding and analysis supporting all production, sales order processing and procurement activities. Merging data from subcontract third party manufacturers and internal systems, this person will drive value through development of structured business information & dashboards, aiding decision making and efficiency. This position will be based in our Bristol office.
Primary Individual Responsibilities and Objectives:
Create, drive, and enhance supply chain and manufacturing understanding with intelligent data
Create models to perform data reconciliations and in-depth analysis
Summarise data reconciliations into report findings, identifying necessary actions and following through the query resolution process with internal and external parties
Review and document processes with a proactive and creative approach
Support the S&OP process by working with the Supply and Demand Managers, and Finance
Acquire data from primary or secondary data sources and maintain databases/data systems
Identify, analyse, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets
Publishing and reporting on supply chain’s core KPIs
Using data science & ML to develop supply chain learning and optimisation
Knowledge, Skills and Experience Essential:
Bachelor’s degree 2:1 or above, in a related field
Substantial experience (minimum 3-5 years) with large, operational data in heavy technology / engineering manufacturing
Experience working with SQL to extract & manipulate data (required)
Python (highly desirable)
Power BI (desirable, but must have experience of at least one Visualisation tool e.g. Tableau, Qlik, Looker etc)
Clear understanding of ERP, Planning and BOM process and data,
Ability to gather and analyse data in an automated approach
Clear understanding of process & batch manufacturing.
Good English language skills – fluent speaker / written
Should be comfortable manipulating complex data sets
A structured approach to work with documentation ‘built-in
