The Business Intelligence Analyst role supports the BD Managers, Capture Managers in the preparation, build-up, progression and success of sales opportunities within the Canadian business. Operation, maintenance and reporting of CRM data supports the organization in managing the pipeline of opportunities contributing to the ultimate success of the business through new revenue generation and strategic forecasting. The role can be based from Ottawa or Medicine Hat, and will involve approx. 25% travel in both Canada, and the UK.
Successful operation and maintenance of C4C CRM databases supporting the business
Research, understanding and reporting of the competitive landscape and situational awareness of Canadian opportunities and QinetiQ itself in Canada.
Preliminary profiling of acquisition target companies in Canada

Key Capabilities and Knowledge:
Working knowledge of SAP C4C CRM tools for development, maintenance, reporting
Ability to work independently, apply creative thinking, deliver on spec and on time
Exposure to Canadian Defence procurement landscape and defence industry
Ability to understand QinetiQ offerings and compare to competitive offerings
Ability to research, understand, and compile information into meaningful business development tools.
Knowledge of the Canadian and global defence industry
Ability to meaningfully manipulate data
Clear and timely communication skills
Ability to understand the organisation and create business development tools to support and foster growth within the national and global industry
Experience and Qualifications:
1-2 years working with CRM tools in a global business supporting business development
College diploma or equivalent in business or commerce program with data management
Experience in business development and penetrating defined target markets
