About the role:
This Junior Data Analyst is responsible for the provision and maintenance of routine reports and analysis tools and for the creation of more effective versions of existing reports, working across the business and functions as requirements dictate. The Junior Data Analyst will manage the continued provision of reports, ensuring timeliness and accuracy of content, as well as engaging with users to ensure continued fitness for purpose. The Junior Data Analyst will have ownership of their own reports and may be responsible for the maintenance of reports developed and owned by others in the team, and will manage all of these reports in accordance with agreed change control procedures.
What will I be doing?
The Junior Data Analyst will deliver management information services to a high standard, managing and completing tasks using own initiative.
You will have responsibility for the accuracy of all data supplied through bespoke reports.
The Junior Data Analyst has responsibility for resolving queries using own initiative and judgement based on analysis of information and knowledge and experience of processes and services.
You will deliver services across any business unit or function in line with requests for support from the Team Lead or user community.
You will support the effectiveness of the Management Information Services team by sharing the success or issues with the wider team.
What do I need?
You should have experience of working in a business delivery environment, using corporate reports to inform and measure delivery performance.
The Junior Data Analyst must have excellent numerical and analytical skills, experienced in creating routine reports to a common format from readily-available sources.
