The Advanced Analytics and Artificial Intelligence (DMZ) department is looking for a Machine Learning Engineer to be based at either our Filton (Bristol) or Broughton in North Wales sites. The department is a central group of data scientists, software engineers and product managers with a mission to apply AI/ML technologies to the most valuable and challenging analytics projects across a variety of different Airbus business areas, from customer services, engineering, HR, Finance to manufacturing. Joining DMZ, you will work closely with a multi-national team of AI specialists, IT specialists, products and platform managers to deliver AI services covering AI/ML technical pillars in Airbus including computer vision, time series anomaly detection, knowledge extraction, decision making and hybrid modeling.
As a Machine Learning Engineer, you will be a key contributor in defining best practices and implementing AI/ML in production across a variety of different products, relying on all Airbus backbones (PCP, Skywise, SAP…) You will engage in the AI communities to mentor and coach the data scientists and advanced analysts in the business to follow MLOps and DataOps best practices. Finally, being based in the UK for DMZ, you will also be the local relay of our team for all analytics matters.
