Job Description

The Ruskin Mill Trust Group operates five colleges and associated residential provisions in Nailsworth, Stourbridge, Sheffield, Birmingham, and Pembrokeshire, as well as independent specialist schools in Worcestershire, Bristol, Sheffield and Darlington. Through our research led method of Practical Skills Therapeutic Education we provide innovative and experiential education for children and young people with special learning needs, developed out of the inspiration of Rudolf Steiner, William Morris and John Ruskin.

Business Intelligence and Development Manager

Grade 14: £44,982 - £48,377

This post is based at Trust’s Corporate Offices, Nailsworth, Gloucestershire

40 Hours per week, 52 weeks per year.

The post holder will have responsibility for providing highly effective research and analayising/managing information and data regarding admissions and business development opportunities to ensure the Trust retains strong student and revenue numbers. The is a requirement to adapt inorder to meet emerging markets and needs and maintains positive relationships with key stakeholders including local authorities, commissioners, and parent groups.

To lead on Business Development opportunities, to driving and developing student and revenue numbers in line with the Trust needs and raising the profile and promotion of the Trust as a whole. Developing external organisational relationships and promote the Trust’s provisions by being a highly effective ambassador for the Trust, representing its interests with local, regional and national groups.

This is a exciting and varied role and will require the post holder to build effective relatiponships and communication processes both internally and with the external stakeholders. A flexible approach to work is essential and national travel and overnight stays may be required within this role.
