Job Description

We are looking for a Business Intelligence Analyst to join our rapidly expanding Media Buying and Ad Sales team. This role is focussed around social media/digital content and you need to be passionate about data, analytics and learning new skills. The role requires someone with experience in extracting and manipulating analytics data to provide the teams, and the wider business, clear, data-driven, insights & reporting in respect of all media and sales activities and to drive optimisation decision-making, predominantly in relation to social platforms, but may also include visibility across our CTV/OTT ad sales.
This is a critical role for Little Dot Studios as we super charge growth across our media buying (agency) and ad sales capabilities. We need support in pulling vital insight together to power fundamental business decisions, from proposition to pricing, and from short term/day to day tasks to long terms planning.

  • Analysing large datasets, and finding new and exciting ways to use data for optimisation, insights as well as supporting the teams in internal and external client reporting.
  • Working both independently and with other members of the team (including developers) - extracting insights and optimisation ideas from data, as well as producing performance reports.
  • Reading, extracting and manipulating data, presenting your findings to other teams (i.e. creative and media teams).
  • Creating automation and efficiency of financial reporting systems, including research and implementation of new tools.
  • Management of agency media spend reporting and troubleshooting with finance.
  • Supporting the team by taking the leg work out of management and analysis of financial reconciliation across all media projects.


Skills matter, experience is useful, attitude is everything.

  • Very strong numeracy and analysis skills
  • Experience with social media content an advantage
  • Good technical data manipulation skills (SQL, Python, R, BI tools (e.g. Looker) and similar would be a plus)
  • Able to explain the technical details of data and analytics in a non-technical way to our teams
  • Somebody keen to think outside the box, and eager to think of new & innovative ways to build insights
  • Demonstrate an understanding of (hands-on knowledge advantageous) digital analytics data, ideally including search, Social Media platforms (particularly YouTube) and CTV/OTT platforms
