- To design, develop, maintain, and provide support for the roll-out of a data transformation program:
i. Working with business executives and teams across departments and geographies to perform needs analysis, scoping of current processes and KPIs, identify areas of opportunities, and define business requirements
ii. Designing innovative data visualisation solutions which seamlessly facilitates data integration from multiple sources and allows for interactive data exploration; enabling end users to quickly find the information they need to make data driven decisions
iii. Design, build and maintain complex data acquisition and integration procedures, selecting appropriate combination of methods and tools to ensure optimal outcomes – including integrating into other data sources across countries and regions as required
iv. Manage user access whilst upholding data security requirements
v. Manage communication, training and support for end users
- Drive automation of standard reports and processes, as well as data analysis and research; with the ability to manipulate and perform trend analysis to inform the development of predictive sales models
- Operational Sales Reporting and Other Operational Metrics into weekly and monthly performance dashboards through an automated business intelligence tool (PowerBI or equivalent)
- Proactively analyze data to answer key questions from stakeholders or out of self-initiated curiosity with an eye for what will drive business performance, through investigating and then communicating areas for improvement (to increase revenue, lift customer satisfaction or improve profitability)
Skills, know-how and experience:
- Experience working with business intelligence tools (e.g. Power BI, Tableau, Qlik Sense, etc…)
- Experience with data query languages (i.e. SQL, SQAL, JSON)
- Experience in sales operations, performance management, business analytics or business intelligence reporting
- Good knowledge of Salesforce Architecture / Reporting
- Must be comfortable with manipulating and drawing insights from large and unorganised datasets
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Moderate level of business acumen with a commercial mind set
- BSc in computer science, engineering, business intelligence or Information systems
- In depth knowledge and demonstrated success working with business software, spreadsheet applications, and exposure to major ERP applications
