We are currently seeking a Data Analyst to join our Global Intelligence Team based in Stonehouse in the UK and help us take forward our coverage of Commercial Intelligence. The energy industry is undergoing a major repositioning, with more companies pursuing conventional oil and gas exploration and development as well as increasing investments in renewable energy. The ideal candidate should be a be self-starter with an inquisitive mind and interested in all areas of the energy industry. Performance Objectives

• Primarily responsible for all above ground E&P information including: fiscal and contractual terms, bid round terms, laws and policies, gas and LNG pricing, upstream transaction evaluation. Gathering and interpretation of the information and writing daily articles for scout
• Maintain and add to the global fiscal database, tracking new additions and changes in E&P regimes: PSCs, Revenue Sharing Contracts and Risk Service Contracts
• Assist the economist in generating country’s model contracts for bid rounds including production sharing contracts, revenue sharing contracts, concession contracts and risk service contracts
• Assist our regional experts in gathering information to include current, planned and historic activity covering oil & gas licensing, bid rounds, LNG terminals and activity, production and renewables
• Information processing, standardizing, QC and entry of energy data (regime linking) into a GIS database ensuring accurate, complete and timely population of content
• Product generation. Technical production of Enverus Global product suite ensuring consistent information is delivered to weekly and monthly deadlines including creation of regional activity maps and contribution to editorial content
• Promotion of Enverus Global products. Interfacing with clients and the industry to support the product suite and promote the company at industry events. Opportunities to travel/work internationally’

• Educated to degree level, preferably in an earth science or economics

• Ability to work independently
• Excellent written and spoken English
• Good IT skills - competent working in windows environment and using MS office suite. Experienced working with MS Excel
• Some experience of GIS software and understanding of relational databases with experience of working with data tables an advantage
• Experience in upstream oil & gas industry or economics desirable
• Second language skills would be an advantage
