WHAT TO EXPECT:
As part of the Validation, Methods & Reliability (VM&R) Team you will be working across powertrain to support the development of our validation, methodology and engineering process to improve the reliability of our products. This will involve extracting the required data from various data sources to be processed into customer profiles to be combined with damage models. You will be working closely with your customers in the reliability and method arms to define the highest impact customer profiles to develop for the business.
Key accountabilities and responsibilities:
- Creation of SQL scripts to retrieve the appropriate data from the data repositories
- Ensure customer privacy is protected at every stage of data analysis
- Creation of a user interface for the data to ensure customers can interact easily with the data using tools such as Tableau.
- Working cross-functionally and across the company to seek out best practice and development workstreams for data projects around collection and processing of customer, fleet and test data.
- Working with Engineering teams to support damage model development into validation tests and monitoring the data created to ensure accuracy and correlation.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED:
- Bachelors degree in Engineering (any discipline) or Data science
- Experience working with a SQL database
- Some experience of working with ‘big data’ & analytics
- Expeirence building Tabelau based dashboards
- Some Software coding experience such as C++ or python
- Understanding of GPDR and privacy by design methodology
