Northamptonshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust (NHFT) are looking to recruit anInformation Analyst, to work within the Business & Intelligence team, the successful applicant will primarily be responsible for the collation and submissions of the national datasets and support the continued focus to improve Data Quality issues within the submissions.
The post holder will work very closely with the following staff:
  • Business Intelligence Manager
  • Data Quality and Improvement Manager
  • BI Compliance Analyst
  • Performance Analysts & Clinical Service Leads
Interviews will take place remotely and planned for week commencing 30th May 2022
The post holder will be required to adhere to multiple deadlines with priorities that could change on a regular basis. They will be required to use their initiative e.g. forward thinking and continuously reviewing national dataset requirements to support forthcoming dataset requirements and highlights areas of concern.
Submission and maintenance of the National Mandatory Datasets – MHSDS, CSDS, SUS and other routine provisions
Support to develop the day-to-day BAU of SQL & the Trust’s Data Warehouse, more specifically to support the enhancement of the national mandatory datasets
Provide support to the DQ & Compliance Manager, BI Compliance Analyst with data requests, the analysis of data submitted within the national mandatory datasets and the development of the Trusts Data Compliance Framework
Provide direct support to members of the wider Performance Team, providing information to support reporting to Operational Managers & Leads
Have a key understanding of the requirements and changes mandated for the datasets, attending meetings, webinars and network groups to develop and maintain an external support structure
Maintain an expert knowledge of the Trust’s PAS system SystmOne and an in depth understanding of how its data is interpreted within Trust’s Data-Warehouse in relation to reporting and data extraction
Provide expert support and knowledge in the identification, validation, collation and analysis of information and data from a number of different sources
