Job Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen within ICT and Digital to drive forward the Council’s Digital Strategy and Work Programme.

The Data and Business Intelligence Officer will play a key role as part of the Data and Business Intelligence Office that is responsible for the delivery of the Council’s Digital improvements and aspirations in line with the Council's Digital Transformation programme.

The successful candidate will work closely with the Data Scientist, Principal Data and BI Analysts and colleagues across the Data and Business Intelligence Office and the wider ICT and Digital Service to support the coordination and delivery of the projects outlined in the Council's Digital Transformation Strategy, Service Delivery plans and wider Council (Digital) improvements.

You will proactively support and provide analytical/statistical evidence to services across the Council in their decision making. Duties will include researching, interpreting, and presenting a wide range of internal and external data sources that will inform projects as required.

Due to current working arrangements most of the duties will be undertaken remotely at home, however attendance at an office base will be required on times, as per the needs of the service.
