The University’s Strategic Plan – Sustainability (2020-2025) forms a key contribution to this delivery and has defined a programme of work (the Sustainability Implementation Programme) to achieve our sustainability ambitions. The cross-University Sustainability Implementation Group (SIG) has been tasked with setting and leading the Sustainability Implementation Programme under the oversight of the University’s Sustainability Strategy Board.
The purpose of this role is to support the Goals of the University’s Strategic Plan – Sustainability and the SIG’s delivery of the Programme Goals by refining and developing the University’s ISO5000 accredited Environmental Management System (EMS) to enable:
You will work closely with the University’s Estates & Facilities and will establish reproducible analytic pipelines/processes using existing sustainability related data flows and embedding appropriate protocols and processes in the University’s EMS to ensure future delivery on an ongoing basis. The work will also include robust data gap reviews, high quality data analysis and development of a sustainability data dashboard.
The role will also include engagement with stakeholders to define future iterations and updates to the EMS system. This is your chance to help develop a 22nd Century data architecture to propel the University towards a sustainable future.
