Northern Ireland Electricity (NIE) Networks is a member of the ESB Group. We own, build and maintain the electricity network for everyone in Northern Ireland no matter who bills you for your energy use. We have a varied and geographically spread workforce of around 1,200 people who are committed to a sustainable electricity network for the future.

We have a new exciting opportunity for a Data Engineer to be based at this time in our offices in Dargan Crescent, Belfast BT3. This position will be on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will report directly to the Data Manager within the Network Assets Directorate, and be an integral part of a core central data team to supplement our ‘in house’ data capability skills in data analytics, open data and support our transition to a Distribution System Operator (DSO).

You will work on delivering data analytics solutions to business problems across the various business units, working closely with business resources, our internal IT and applications teams and our Managed Service Provider to provide management information tools to support future business decisions
