Acorns Children's Hospice Trust are looking for a Data Analyst to join our Data Team and support with analysing information, providing insight and producing reports.

About the Role

As a Data Analyst, you’ll analyse all kinds of data from across the different functions of the organisation. You’ll look at fundraising data, focussing on key insights into donor behaviour, attrition and charity campaigns, tracking outcomes of marketing activities and providing deeper analysis. You’ll look at care data, undertaking regular data audits and cleansing to ensure all data complies with legal requirements.

As a Data Analyst, you will:

• Use advanced tools, such as SQL, to extract data from data sources and use this data to create reports and reporting systems.
• Support with the development of integration with other digital information interfaces such as our website, e-marketing, our online shop and event registration.
• Perform data queries and analysis on a variety of in-house, cloud and partner data systems.
• Support data redaction, cleansing and integration projects

We want to promote a culture of self-sufficiency and collaboration, so you’ll play an active part in promoting best practice in database use and analysis across the organisation, and you’ll provide training to teams when needed.

About You

You will have a graduate qualification in an IT related subject and experience in SQL, Jaspersoft script, Excel, Power BI or other similar programmes. You’ll have experience of writing database queries and import and export of data.

You’ll have excellent administrative, organisational and communication skills and be highly numerate and IT literate.
