We have an exciting permanent opportunity to join our security team within ICT Services in a role critical to effective information and cyber security across all Council areas. You will assist in proactively managing and reducing information and cyber risk by contributing to efficient prioritising of remediation efforts, ensuring security of both on premise and cloud hosted infrastructures, providing training, advice and guidance to staff and departments and contributing to policy and operational practice. We are looking for a security professional with a collaborative, innovative approach, a high level of drive and commitment, excellent interpersonal skills and a track record of delivering and securing other organisations. You will liaise with a variety of staff at all levels bringing skills to keep the Council compliant with security standards such as PSN, CE+, PCI DSS, DPA, GDPR and Public Sector Action Plan.
