Based in the UK, but operating globally our brands aim is to build a reputation based on innovation, service and dependability.

With origins traced back to 1848, three Norwegian brothers embarked on an international shipping business.

Subsequent growth and diversification sees the organisation consisting of public companies, based in Norway, and Fred. Olsen Ltd. based here in the UK. Now in the 5th generation of family, Fred. Olsen related companies cover mostly renewable energy related activities such as wind farm development and operation and offshore wind installation, but also cruise, media, real estate and venture capital.
