Principal Data & AI Architect

Role Overview:

Own the end-to-end architecture for enterprise data platforms and AI-driven supply chain solutions. Define standards, best practices, and ensure scalability and security.

Key Responsibilities:

Design enterprise-grade data architectures leveraging Snowflake, Databricks, or BigQuery. (experience with atleast 2 platforms mandatory)

Define data governance frameworks (Colibra / Atlan / Alation / Databricks Unity), security models, and semantic layers.

Lead migration strategies from SAP ECC/S4 to cloud lakehouse environments.

Architect AI-ready data foundations for advanced analytics and LLM integration.

Guide teams on performance optimization, cost management, and cloud-native patterns.

Partner with business stakeholders to align architecture with supply chain objectives.

Required Skills:

Deep expertise in data architecture for cloud platforms (Snowflake, Databricks, BigQuery).

Strong knowledge of data lakehouse patterns, Delta Lake, and semantic modeling.

Experience with AI/ML enablement, LLM orchestration, and agentic workflows.

Proficiency in Python, Spark/PySpark, and big data ecosystems.

Familiarity with SAP and / or SAP BW as the source for data extraction and integration.

Familiarity with SAP BDC (Business Data Cloud) and building Data Products

Excellent communication and leadership skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: £35,000.00-£85,000.00 per year
